Oh man! What a great way to improve your ride. There wasn't a single better way to improve your ride on a bike than getting a carbon fork in the 80's and 90's. In fact, if you don't have one, you had better get one!!

 

Here is a great place to start. Not only has the carbon legs provided superior ride for now millions of bicyclists, but they are also constructed with carbon fiber steerer tubes, and even carbon fiber crowns to save ever precious weight.

 

One good rule of thumb when installing carbon fiber forks is to limit the number of spacers to 4cm + your stem. Also, never use a standard star nut, use a carbon fiber approved fork plug, or you'll probably have a BAD DAY!
